Baripada, August 31 (Odisha.in) An outbreak of waterborne diarrhea has made at least 33 persons ill in Orissa’s tribal populated Mayurbhanj district over past two days, health official said Friday.
The affected are from Bhaliadiha village under Kuliona block. They include five persons from Bangiripsoi areas, four from Rashgobind areas and other three from Baripada municipality.
According to district health sources the affected people got the illness after consuming the contentment water.
All are undergoing treatment at the district headquarter hospital and are now out of danger. A team of doctors have rushed to the affected villages.
