Bhubaneswar, April 5 (Odisha.in) Bharatiya Janata Party Orissa president Jual Oram on Tuesday said he will head for West Bengal next week to campaign for party candidates for the coming multi-phased elections in the state.
Oram, a prominent tribal leader who was a tribal affairs minister in the Vajpayee government said he will mainly campaign in the districts of Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling and Dinajpur in north Bengal during this trip. “I will visit West Bengal on April 11 and stay until April 15” Oram told Odisha.in. During his trip Oram has planned to address several public meetings.
“The Congress led UPA has failed in all fronts and we will highlight that during our campaigns” he said adding he may visit the state again later. Oram said he has also planned to depute many other senior leaders from Orissa for campaign in favour party candidates.
