Bhubaneswar, November 24 (Odisha.in) Security forces across the state have been put on high alert and special security measures have also been pressed into action in the wake of serial blasts in Uttar Pradesh on Friday afternoon, official said Saturday.
“After the serial blasts, we have asked senior security forces working in the state capital here, Biju Patnaik Air Port, pilgrimage town of Puri, Cuttack, Balasore and other places to remain alert, a senior state police official said.
We have made adequate security measures ahead of the Kartika Purnima on Saturday,” the official said.
Three serial blasts that rocked civil courts in Lucknow, Faizadbad and Varanasi have also put the Police forces here on high alert with intelligence sources said that many places the state are already under the threat of terrorist attack.
Meanwhile, after the blasts, State unit of RSS has demanded more security for temples across the state. RSS in a statement also condemned the UP incident.
