Bhubaneswar, October 10 (Odisha.in) Eminent writer and academician Dr Ratnakar Chaini has been elected as the new president of State unit Sanskar Bharati, a socio-cultural organization, an organization spokesperson said Wednesday.
Ashok Kumar Das has been elected as advisor while Padmashree Chaturbhuja Meher, noted artist Asim Basu, Asit Baran Mohapatra, Srinibash Udgata, Basant Kumar Panda and Srinibash Panda have been chosen as patrons, state organising secretary Niranjan Panda said.
Noted playback singer Subash Das, classical singer Debendra Narayan Satpathy and Adarmani Baral have been elected as vice presidents.
Besides, Harekrushan Bhoi would be the new general secretary of the Sanskar Bharati. Gyana Hota, Nageswar Samal elected as State secretaries while Bhimasen Mallick as treasurer. Biswanath Mishra(Sangeet), Gyana Hota(Sahitya), Gadadhar Barik(Nataka), Bipin Choudhury(Saha-Nataka), Santanu Kumar Mund(Lok Kala), Krushna Satpathy(Bhualnkaran), Satyabhama Mishra(Matrushakti), Niranjan Mohanty(Drusya-srabya), Jagannath Patnaik(Prachina Kala ‘O’ Prakasan), BN Kar(Prachar Prasar).
