Keonjhar, October 9 (Odisha.in) Over a dozen of Maoists including for women Monday evening attacked a camp set up by Geological Survey of India and set their vehicle on fire, torched two machines in Keonjhar’s Ghuduma village, police said.
GSI had set up the camp and sent its officials to the area despite the local protest.
The Maoists entered into the camp, some 90 kilometers from here torched a jeep, survey machine and drilling machine kept near by, district superintendent of police Yatindra Koyal told Odisha.in. The officials have lodged a complaint and we are investigating; he said.
