Bhubaneswar, August 21 (Odisha.in) Orissa police as well as top security and intelligence personals are facing a tough time after the office of the chief minister Naveen Patnaik received an e-mail in which the mailer threatened to blow up Orissa Assembly within coming 15 days.
The e-mail was sent from ‘bcdg-97@hotmail.com’ account and the sender has named him as Gagan, a top official of the state police department told Odisha.in. The mail has been handed over to the I.G. Crime Branch to inquire, he said.
Knowledgeable sources with expertise in detecting cyber crime in the police department told Odisha.in that the possible location of the sender may be Bangalore.
The mail, written in Hindi using English alphabets, has claimed that a few security officials are hand in glove with them to carry out the operation.
“Tumhara lok hamara sath mein hai. Pandar dinke andar assembly udadiyajayega”, the mail said.
Security has been tightened up in Orissa Secretariat as well as the Assembly building. “There is nothing to worry. Some body has done it to play mischief” director general of police Amarananda Patnaik told Odisha.in .
