Balasore, August 16 (odisha.in) Balasore town police have registered a case Under Sections 420, 468,471 and 34 of IPC against the promoters of Digital Securities, which has allegedly vanished from the town all on a sudden after taking deposit of about Rs 20 crore from over 200 depositors for investing in the share market.
According to the F.I.R. filed by 58 investors, the Digital Securities had opened it’s office in Balasore in January, 2005 and was claiming as the franchise office of India Bull, a financial agency registered with NSE (National Stock Exchange)BSE( Bombay Stock Exchange ) and SEBI ( Security Exchange Board of India ).
The said organisation was promoted by Sushanta Dhal, Dillip Dhal, Sikanta Dhal, Niranjan Dhal, Elina Mohapatra, Rajesh Mahalik natives of Bajamapat under Mangalpur police station of Jajpur district.
Sarat Chandra Mohapatra and Biswash Mohapatra of Balasore were also among the promoters of the company.
Being swayed away by the sweet words and tempting promises of the promoters to get easy money , the investors have invested from Rs 10,000.00 to Rs 5 lakh.
The investors have alleged in the F.I.R. that instead of investing their money in buying equity share or d mat accounts, the promoters of the company have misappropriated the entire amount and have vanished from Balasore from 20th March, 2007.
After getting the complaint, the police have registered case no.232/2007 and have started investigation.
