Jagatsinghpur, August 8, In this science age, tantric performed rituals for hours in a government hospitals to revive life on a dead body and the doctors, hospitals staffs were mere spectators.
The doctors of the district government hospital in Jagatasinghpur allowed the woman Tantrik but obviously, the sorcerer failed in her mission to resuscitate life of the deceased woman, Kabita Bhuayn, 27 a resident of Jakoti village who died of snakebite on Tuesday.
A village quack first tried to cure her by giving roots of some trees. But, her condition deteriorated. She was admitted in the government hospital in Jagatsinghpur. But, Kabita died in the hospital.
After her death villagers and her relatives invited Sanjukta Das a woman Tantrik of Paradeep if she can revive the dead woman.
After reaching the hospital, the woman sorcerer bathed corpse with108 buckets of holy water mixed with milk and performed rituals for over three hours amidst chanting of mantra by her and others.
But the so-called superpower of the sorcerer could not revive the life on the corpse.
