Bhubaneswar, Dec.02 ( Odisha.in ):Babita Kar, an young lady advocate in Bhubaneswar has claimed that Avinash Patnaik had come to her along with model Moon Das on 9th September, this year to get their marriage legalized with the Registrar of Marriages. " They had told me that they have got married in temple. Now they want to get it registered," she said.

Babita wanted Avinash to write down the deatils about him and Mousumi ( Moon) in her diary so that there would be no ambiguity in the application for registration of marriage.

Avinash promptly wrote his name and address as well as that of Moon in her diary in his own hand writing. Showing the pages of her diary, she said Avinash had mentioned 15.12.1985 as his date of birth and 29.03.2994 as the date of birth of Mousumi ( Moon ) Das.

Babita had asked them to come next day. But they came to the Bhuabneswar court on 11th September. Moon was dressed in an eye-catching style and drew attention of the lawyers present in the bar. Members of Bhubaneswar Bar had never encountered with any lady wearing such type of dress.

" She was virtually wearing almost nothing. Hardly ten percent of her body was covered.  Both of them filled the forms and signed at the office of the Sub-Rergistrar, Bhubaneswar who is also the registrar of marriages. The application was filed with Serial No. 1070/07 dated 11.09.07 which is available in the said office.
(Advocate Babita Kar)
The Advocate revealed that on 11th September, 2007, Avinash had taken a number of photographs of Moon inside the Bar and court compound along with others.

All the snaps he had taken in his Nokia Mobile camera. Those photographs can testify about Moon's Presence in Bhuabneswar along with Avinash on such dates. " I donot know who is in possession of the mobile and those photographs", she lamented.

She said as far as her knowledge goes Avinash and Moon had stayed at Hotel Suryansh during that particular visit to Bhubaneswar.

Babita, told Odisha.in that she knew Avinash earlier as she had met him in a social function.

She said Avinash was a very nice guy , well behaved, and cool in nature. He was sincerely loving Moon and was eager to solemnize the marriage. Moon on the otherhand seemed to be casual.

She said that both Avinash and Moon were to come to Bhubaneswar a month after  filing the application form for marriage as required by law. But they did not turn up on the scheduled day. Avinash had called her and informed her that Moon and himself are not in a position to come as Moon is not getting leave. After that they had not contacted  Advocate Babita.

Babita, who claims to have come in contact with a number of criminals in her professional life said that under no circumstances she can believe that Avinash have killed two persons and have killed himself. " He was not of that type", she asserted.

She said, though Avinash was very seriously in love with Moon, she appeared to be casual. (Moon in semi nude dress)

The young advocate said, Avinash was very caring for Moon. He was keeping the Air Conditioner of his black Honda Civic car running, even the car was not on the move to ensure that Moon did not sweat. " How a person with such a tender heart can plan to commit murder his girl friend/wife ?" she asked.
