Avinash's mysterious pistol holds clue to Mumbai tripple murder ?

If it was In case of an unlicensed weapon, the police should ascertain the source from which it was procured.

Bhubaneswar, Nov.30 ( Odisha.in) The "mysterious " sophisticated pistol recovered from Moon's flat after 22nd November shoot out seems to hold the key to solve the triple murder.

According to Oshiwara police Avinash had entered the ninth floor apartment of model Moon Das in the New Link Garden building in suburban Andheri's Yamuna Nagar while looking for her late Thursday night. After shooting Moon's mother Kannan Das and maternal uncle Vikas Chandra Sarkar  he waited for Moon's arrival and when Moon succeeded in locking him from outside with help of her friend Ramesh Sharma, Avinash shot himself.

The police has said that only Moon Das and Ramesh Sharma had seen Avinash with the pistol. The police has also said that during the inquest they found that Avinash had fired all the three rounds loaded in the pistol.

On the other hand Avinash's father  Bhupen Patnaik has told Odisha.in that his son did not possess any pistol or revolver nor he had any fancy for such articles.

Since he was a jolly guy with no enemies, he was not apprehending any danger for which he was to keep a revolver for self defense.Avinash's friends also claim that he had never expressed any desire to possess a revolver or a pistol.

According to Bhupen Patnaik, Avinsah had never applied for any fire-arm license also.

According to a report in Indian Express from Mumbai, published on November 24, Additional Commissioner of Police Archana Tyagi said it is an "open-and-shut case" for the police.

"However, we have to fill in the details and follow up on all angles to prove the sequence of events. The investigation is now directed towards the pistol used by Patnaik as we have found that it was unlicensed."

If it was In case of an unlicensed weapon, the police should ascertain the source from which it was procured.

As it was not possible to acquire such a sophisticated pistol from Orissa, the source must have been Mumbai. Avinash drove alone from Sambalpur via Rourkela on November 21 and reached Mumbai next day.

He had met Ramesh Sharma at the Mumbai airport, if Sharma's statement is to be believed. Since Avinsah was not much acquainted with the grey arm market in Mumbai, it was next to impossible to purchase a pistol without license paying ready cash there.

Moreover the reports quoting the police said that Avinash had emptied all the three bullets from his pistol and no more live bullets were recovered from his possession or from the Honda Civic car which he drove to Mumbai.

None with slightest of common sense would believe that Avinash had purchased/ procured such a sophisticated pistol only with three bullets. In case he had purchased more bullets, where did those bullets vanished ?

If Avinash had come prepared to commit murders, then why did not loaded his pistol with more bullets for self defense ? If he was in a rage, a pistol wielding Avinash could have fired at Moon and/or Sharma when they tried to push him back and locked the door from outside ?

For such reasons, one have to believe the theory of Bhupen Patnaik that Avinash fell victim to a deep rooted conspiracy and was killed by mafia in Mumbai.

Avinash's friends and father claim that he had invested huge money in Mumbai and was expecting to get back Rs 30 lakhs for which he had been to Mumbai after getting a call.

If this version is to be believed, then the needly of suspicion  points at  the person or persons with whom he had invested the money even without informing his father, who claims that Avinash loved him dearly.

In case  Avinash would have made all transactions  by cheques  and drafts then verification of bank documents can locate the source with which he had transacted a huge amount.

Though Mumbai police is giving more importance to the love story between Avinash and Moon sofar it has not been able to solve the mystery behind the " sophisticated pistiol ".

Moreover they have also not acted upon the theory regarding the alleged heavy financial transaction, which gives birth to doubt that Avinash was murdered by the hired killers/ mafia inside the flat owned by Moon Das only to get rid of his pressure for refunding the money.

Moon's mother and uncle fell prey in the hands of the killers as they kin-pin behind the possible conspiracy might have tried to make Moon free from them for ever.
