Lions club honours teachers

The teachers who were facilitated are Rukmini Panda of Badachandili School, Sadhana Bisnoi, of LPS.Public School, Sanjabani Das of LPS High School, K Trinath Rao of Ugratara High school and R. Kesaba rao of Gopabandhu High school, Chandili.

Rayagada, September 8 (odisha.in) Lion club here facilitated five teachers of the district in Rayagada for their relentless service and contribution to the society.

The teachers were honoured in a formal meeting organised in a school. The teachers who were facilitated are Rukmini Panda of Badachandili School, Sadhana Bisnoi, of LPS.Public School, Sanjabani Das of LPS High School, K Trinath Rao of Ugratara High school and R. Kesaba Rao of Gopabandhu High school, Chandili.

Ln. Ashok Kums Sharda, chairman, Environment, District 322-C2 of Lions club of Jaykaypur initiated the facilitation.  
 MC. Goyal, VP (technical) of JK Paper Mills, attended the function as the chief guest.

M.K.Sinha, S.Bhargava, AK Mishra, BP. Ratho, of Lions Club of Jaykaypur were among others who attended the program.

District intelligence bureau officials told Odisha.in that the Maoists rushed the village under Gudari police station, 80 kilometers from here late night and shot dead the villager suspecting him to be a police informer.

It was not the first visit of Patnaik to the area. He had visited this tribal populated region in 2000 when there were reports of starvation deaths. But nothing has changed over the past years.
