Spurious liquor kills seven in Malkangiri

The tribals consumed the drinks during celebration of Nua Khai on Wednesday. Five of them died instantly while two others died in Malkangiri hospital to which they were rushed in serious condition.

Malkangiri, October17 ( Odisha.in) Seven tribals died and two developed serious illness after consuming country made liquor in Metelguda village under Gorakheta gram panchayat of Malkangiri district.

According to available information, the tribals consumed the drinks during celebration of Nua Khai on Wednesday. Five of them died instantly while two others died in Malkangiri hospital to which they were rushed in serious condition.

Two more are struggling for life in the same hospital.
