The East Coast Railway (ECoR) will be live streaming the famous Jagannath Rath Yatra from Puri on its mobile app on Saturday (July 14).
Passengers travelling to Puri will be able to witness the famous chariot festival on ‘ECOR Yatra’ mobile app even if they get late in reaching the festival site.
Users of Android phones can download the app from Google Play Store.
The app also offers information on regular and special trains run by ECoR during Rath Yatra and various facilities offered to the passengers during this time.
Users will be able to get all details of special trains scheduled to run from July 13 to 24.
The app will also help in getting live train information, including platform number allocation at Puri for respective trains, lodging arrangements, retiring rooms and shed arrangements made available through Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).
Besides, there will be the full ritual schedule of the Rath Yatra.
Users can also get information on 40 additional ticket counters at Puri and wayside stations, transport facilities at Puri being offered by Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) and pre-paid taxi along with fares, inquiry facilities like seat availability, fare, National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and Passenger Name Record (PNR).
Passengers can book reserved and unreserved tickets through the app, among a host of other facilities.
