He expressed confidence of winning at least 120 of the 147 seats in the Odisha Assembly.
In a tweet post his organizational visit, Shah tweeted: “Addressed a meeting with Shakti Kendra incharges and co-incharges in Bhubaneswar (Odisha). With such energy and enthusiasm among @BJP4Odisha karyakartas, BJP is all set to sweep Odisha in 2019, under the leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi.”
During his visit to Odisha, Shah met noted architect and sculpturist, Padma Vibhushan Raghunath Mohapatra at his home in Bhubaneswar.
“As part of ‘Sampark for Samarthan’ campaign, shared with him details of achievements & several initiatives undertaken by Modi govt in the last 4years,” tweeted Shah.
Shah, meanwhile, slammed Odisha chief minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik over missing keys of Ratnabhandar (treasure store) at Jagannath temple.
“He failed to safeguard the aspirations of Hindus,” said Shah.
He even asked Patnaik to quit over misgovernance.
“So far the Centre has granted Rs 4 lakh crore for Odisha’s development. But the BJD government did not utilize it,” alleged Shah.
