Bhubaneswar, March 26 (Odisha.in) Odisha capital Bhubaneswar sizzled on Tuesday with mercury touched
41.2 degree; the day’s highest in the state, official said.
Three other towns Baripada, Sambalpur and Titilagarh also saw high temperature by recording 41.0, 40.4 and 40.2 degree Celsius respectively.
The state meteorological centre here was yet to issue a heat wave warning. However large number of people in the affected towns preferred to remain indoor especially when the heat was at pick. Roads also wore a deserted look.
