Bhubaneswar, Aug 26 (Odisha.com) A Bhubaneswar based institute has launched a course exclusively for broad cast media.
Described as the first of its kind, the Academy for Media Learning’ (AML)’s new course was launched on Sunday in a simple function by information and public relation department minister Arun Kumar Sahu here.
Ollywood superstar Akash Dasnayak, Ashok Mahapatra, chief of bureau, MBC TV were among other guests who witnessed the orientation of first batch of diploma and post graduate diploma courses at AML campus in Samanta Vihar.
AML is an innovative and new generation media leaning and production center. With its unique and industry-aligned curriculum design, state of art infrastructure and distinct academic approach, it aims to bridge the gap between the demand for and supply of skilled professionals in the media and entertainment industry.
The academy has been offering post graduate diploma, diploma and short-term professional skills development courses.
The courses are being offered by the institute keeping in mind the latest trends in major mediums of mass communication such as print, radio, television, web and multimedia, digital media, advertising, public relation and corporate communications.
A rare photo collection of Bhubaneswar based photo journalists were placed in an exhibition “Media Clicks” with an intension to demonstrate the third eye expressions.
Photos of Asit Ku Satapathy, Laxmikant Das, Biswa Ranjan Rout, Jitendra Kumar Mohanty, Biswa Ranjan Mishra, Arabinda Mahapatra and Bhabani Prasad Das were exhibited at the Media Clicks.
A modern and well equipped professional AV Studio was inaugurated on this occasion along with the newly designed webpage of AML www.aml.edu.in.
