Kendrapada, Dec 4 (Odisha.in) Police Tuesday recovered 21.50 lakh from the house of Rahul Pradhan in village Belapala under Rajnagar police station.
Village residents Rahul Pradhan, Prakash Pradhan and Banka Swain looted the money on 21st, November from the house of a businessman, Amubhai Rukhana in Banagalore.
All the three culprits were working as domestic servants in the house of the businessman.
After looting the amount, all the three persons came to their village Belapala and concealed 21.50 lakh in a suitcase in the orchard of Rahul and spent the rest amount, said S.C. Panda the Officer-in-Charge of Rajnagar police station.
The Banagalore based businessman had filed an FIR against his three domestic servants in the High Ground police station in Banagalore and had alleged that they looted the money which he kept in the house to purchase a land.
Police filled a case under section- 381 of IPC against all the three persons. A four member police team including the police officer, T. Chelsul Goud of High Ground police station along with Himanshu Rukhana the son of the businessman rushed to Kendrapada on Monday to arrest all the three culprits and to recover the amount with the help of local police.
Rajnagar police formed a team to arrest all the three persons and to recover the amount. Police raided the house of all the three persons But , they managed to flee from the village. Police searched the house of Rahul and found 21.50 lakh from a suitcase in his orchard, said the police officer.
Police are raiding many hideouts of the culprits to arrest them. Police have on Tuesday handed over the seized amount of 21.50 lakh to the Banagalore police. Police officials from Banagalore will wait in Rajnagar till the arrest of all the three culprits’ added the police officer.
