Boudh, Nov 21 (Odisha.in) A district level work shop on quality education was organised at Boudh by non government organization CLAAP on 19th November.
The workshop organised in collaboration with YCDA was attended by around 100 participants from different spheres of life including educationists, journalists, social activists, labour officers, village education committee members and members of the panchayati raj institutions (PRI).
As per the constitution of India severy child between 6 to 14 years has the right to get primary education freely.
However a recent survey has revealed that approximately 20 lakh children area deprived of getting primary education .due to various causes.
The workshop was inaugurated by educationist Narayan Pruseth.
other participants include Nilamadhav parrichha, Zilla Parisad chairman Dibya sankar Raut, district labour officer P K Singh, journalist Mr Rajni kanta Dash.
Rajendra Meher secretary of YCDA described the objective of the work shop.
