Bhubaneswar,November 15 ( Odisha.in) CPI-ML ( Liberation) national general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharjee, said here on Thursday that his party is very much against displacement for industries.

He said that his party had already expressed its solidarity with the people of Kalinga Nagar and other places who are fighting against displacement for establishment of industries.
Talking to media persons at Nagbhusan Bhavan here Bhattacharjee said that his party opposes the SEZ and has already made its stand clear.
Under no circumstances the SEZ should be allowed to operate as it would jeopardize the interest of the people and the country.
” Wherever there would be move for uprooting of the people from their lands resistance like Kalinga Nagar and Nandigram is bound to take place,” he said.
Bhattacharjee blamed the CPI(M) for the situation in Nandigram and alleged that it has made secret pact with the UPA Government at the center to soften its stand on nuclear deal and get support of the UPA in suppressing the people’s agitation at Nandigram by using the CRPF.
Bhattacharjee pleaded for growth of an honest pro-people democratic left force to replace the CPI(M) in West Bengal as well as in India.
He found fault with the opposition for allowing the CPI(M) led left front Government in West Bengal to continue in power for long 30 years.
He hoped that all the left democratic partners of the CPI(M) in West Bengal would withdraw their support from the CPI(M) whose anti-people role has been well established from the repeated brutal killings in Nandigram.
