Jagatsinghpur, November 12 (Odisha.in) Police Sunday rescued an official of a electrical company plant who was kidnapped by some anti social some days ago from plant site at port town of Paradeep.
V.Jhon works as the in charge of Electricity Company who has been doing electrification work at the IFFCO plant.In 2005, local youths Pradip Pattnaik of Nuagada, Ranjan Beura of Balidhia and another one Kailash Nanda were also working as contractor under this company.
During this time, they were working as contractor as per the verbal order of the then side in charge. Meanwhile, Jhon has joined in place of former site in charge. These contractors demanded money for repairing and maintenance of electrification of plant but Jhon reportedly requested them to submit work order and other documents to release their funds.
The contractors could not produce the documents. The contractors were aggrieved when Jhon reportedly
refused them payment.
Some anti socials allegedly hired by the contractors forcibly kidnapped Jhon from Paradipgarh area recently. Later they threatened to kill him if he would not release their bills. They also kept him hostage for two days at Gandikipur village under Kujang police station and later shifted to Bhubhenswar forcibly.
Company owner had nformed about the kidnapping of Jhon to Paradip police. Paradip police has rescued Jhon from Padama lodge in Bhubaneswar and arrested two accused Pradip and Rajan in this connection. Police has registered a case and forwarded them to the court.
