Balasore, October 14 (odisha.in) Bharatiya Janata party Orissa State unit Sunday started its pre-election preparation from Balasore Parliamentary constituency, a senior BJP leader said.
The state BJP officials met here and discussed about the strategy they will have in case the country face mid- term Lok Sabha election.
District president of the party and Jaleswar MLA Aswani kumar Patra presided over the meeting.
Suresh Pujari argued party workers to give sufficient attentions to form committees in both district and the grass root level. All India general secretary and in-charge of Orissa state unit Vinaya Katiar advised the party worker to get ready for a mid term poll.
He criticised the central UPA government for failing to protect the interest of the cross section of people including common men. He warned the congress and the left parties for allegedly having anti-people stand on the Ram setu issue.
The other party leaders who were present and participated in the discussion were M.A.Kharavela Swain MP,Golok Naik Minister, Pramila Giri MLA, Pratap Sarangi MLA, Jiban Pradeep Das president BLS, CCB, Bishnu Ch. Sethi Chairman Cashew Board, Tanuja Panda President BRIT, Panchanan Rout, Prasanna Mishra, Rajkishore Das Birendra Mohan Biswal, and BJP’s national vice president and MP Jual Oram.
