Bargarh October 8 (Odisha.in) The Vikash institute –a leading private educational institution in Bargarh has selected at least twenty five of its students for their participation in a national and international Yoga Olympiad to be held at Bangalore on 14 to 18 December this year.
“We selected them after holding a two days camp where 106 students of four western districts participated” Chairman of Vikash management, D Murali Krishna told Odisha.in.
In the first phase we selected about 40 participants who demonstrated their unique skill and shown their expertise in traditional yogic postures including Mudras and Ashana in the presence of Swami Satyabindu and Prahalad Farmonia
The other eminent persons who participated in the selection process were managing director D Bhaskar Rao , academic director V Shrinivas and junior college principal Samarndra Panda, residential school principal Shishir Prasad Roul.
Dr Raghavananda Nayak, a Kriya Yoga expert will provide further training to the selected students.
