Raipur, October 4 (odisha.in) An unknown miscreant Thursday allegedly looted Rs. 10 lakh cash from a Orissa man who had come here on some business work.
Arjun Panda a resident of Umarkot in Koraput had gone to a shop in city’s Gudiyari area with a hand bang in which he had kept the cash.
He opened the bag to pay some money to the shop owner. After brining out a bunch of money he kept the bag near the shop and started counting the money to pay the shop owner a cash of Rs..50,000/.
A unknown miscreant allegedly appeared in the spot and took away the bag that he had kept near the shop, local police said. Panda knew about it when he wanted to move from the place but did not find the bag, police said.
Panda has lodged a complaint at the Gudiyari police station. Police has detained some people and inquiring into the incident.
