Bhubaneswar, Sept 28 ( Odisha.in):The Rugby Squad of KISS, representing India in the Under 14 Rugby World Cup underway in London, has stormed into its final. The KISS India Rugby team topped the Group-B by defeating Zambia, Switzerland, Kenya and Romania.
The team will clash with South Africa of Group A in the final to be played at Scottish Rugby Club, London on Saturday at 2:30 Indian time. Other teams in Group A are Cambodia, Ruwanda, Maldowa and Kazaksthan.
All the eyes are on KISS Rugby India Team, captained by Bikas Chandra Murmu, as it emerged as a dark horse in the whole tournament.
Joys of the 5000 tribal students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), a sister concern of KIIT, knew no bounds as they heard about the victory of their team in the World Cup, organized at the grounds of Acer Rugby Club of England.
Congratulating the team for their outstanding performance, Founder Secretary of KISS and KIIT, and Chancellor of KIIT University, Dr. A.
