Sambalpur, September 25 (Odisha.in) At least nine persons were killed and 13 people injured in two separate road accidents.
While one took place in the district of Sambalpur late Monday night and another in its neighbouring district of Angul early Tuesday.
The first accident took place when a Bolero carrying 12 tourists from Chhatisgarh hit a road side tree Amlipali village under Jujomura police station. Four persons died on the spot and seven sustained injuries, local police said.
The other accident took place when a truck hit a group of people standing near a auto near at Maratira village in the district of Anugul Tuesday morning.
Four persons died on the spot and six have sustained injuries.
