Rayagada, September 8 (Odisha.in) The management of J.K. Paper mills at Rayagada has offered several benefits to its workers signing an agreement with their union, a company official said Saturday.
The long term agreement was signed in between M/S. J.K. paper mills management and J.K.paper mills workers union in respect of work men (operatives) and work men (sub-staff).
The main salient features of the said agreement are increase in wages Rs.1000/- (per month) for A grade and Rs.1130/- for G grade work men.
Rates of yearly increment increased to 20 per cent over the existing rates of increment, increase in the attendance incentive by 20 per cent over the existing slabs and 2 sets of uniform in a year to all permanent employees.
The company has also promise to increase dearness allowance every six months, employees will get a interest free loan of Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 25,000/- towards the higher studies of their children and towards treatment of their family members if they suffer from serious disease.
While S.K. Mishra chief executive (works), M.C.Goel, vice-president (technical), S.K.Agrawal Vice-Presedent (COMML), Ramesh Kumar Sr.General Menager (P&A) signed on behalf of the management Narayana Reddy MLA Chhatrapur and advisor of union, Sauribandhu Kar,Gen-Secy of AITUC, Orissa and advisor of union, Mohan Patra, President and other office bearers of the union signed on behalf of the union.
