Bargarh, Sept 06 (Odisha.in) The State Bank Of India, Bargarh Branch honored 13 retired teachers of the town on eve of Gurudivas for their contribution to the society.
Bank’s regional manager Amerandra Mishra and chief manager man branch Bipin bihari Panigrahi Branch honoured teachers with shawl, flowers and providing them Mementos in a specially organized function at city’s main branch by senior most retired teacher Sashibhusan Dash.
All the teachers honoured were above the age group of 60. They were earlier worked in various colleges and schools of the district.
The teachers who received the honour include Sashibhusan Dash, Netranand Pujhari, Amarendra Jadav, Sachidananda Mishra, Nandikishor Dash, Nurabati Sahu, Prof Narayan Pruseth, Narsihngh Bishi, Monoranjan Sahu, Prashana Dash, National awarded teacher Tulashicharan Padhan, Lingaraj Naik and Netranand Padhan.
Manager of local branch B.M Panigrahi highlighted the Guru-Shishya tradition.
