New Delhi, August 27 (Odisha.in) At least two bureaucrats turned Member of Parliaments from Orissa skipped an important meeting organized by Union Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh at New Delhi on August 23.
The MPs are Pyarimohan Mohapatra and Dr. Radhakanta Nayak. While Mohapatra is a sitting member of Rajya Sabha from ruling Biju Janata Dal, Nayak is a sitting Rajya Sabha member from congress party.
The meeting called by Singh was organized at Parliement Annexe. It was an interactive session that continued for four hours starting from 6 pm.
All other MPs from Orissa attended the meeting and provided their feedback to the minister on various schemes of rural development department in the state. However Mohapatra and Nayak did not attend, ministry sources told Odisha.in.
