Sambalpur, August 11 (Odisha.in) Police Saturday recovered the dead body of a grocery owner who was allegedly abducted by Maoists from Orissa’s Sambalpur district Wednesday night at gun point.
The dead body of Arjun Dehuri a resident of Talab village was recovered from a busy forest at neighbouring Gariakhaman village in semi decomposed state, police said.
Police suspect the man was beheaded on Thursday night, he said.
The Maoists had also abducted two other persons same night Dutiya Naik and Mochi Dehury from Kechbil village. However they had released them Friday night.
