Keonjhar, August 6 (Odisha.in) Barbil police have nabbed two taxi drivers from bordering Railway Station, Barjamada of Jharkhand state when they were trying to escape in Goa-Tata Nagar passenger train on Sunday afternoon after committing a crime in Orissa.
“They were allegedly involved in the murder of Raja Gupta (15), son of a Hotel owner Moti Gupta. One person is still absconding. We are investing the crime, inspector in charge of Barbil S.K.Naik told Odisha.in
According to sources on Saturday two taxi drivers went to the hotel of Moti Gupta for tea. Raja Gupta son of Moti Gupta was there in the hotel to help his father.
While taking tea, a cup of tea felled down from the hand of a taxi driver, but deceased Raja charged its cost. This led to quarrels between taxi drivers and Raja. That day his father asked Raja not to come hotel further.
From that night Raja did not return home. On Sunday morning his dead body was found from Bagiaburu Mines near Bakalhauting.
Family members of Raja alleged the involvement of the taxi drivers in this Murder case. The body had 13 injuries mark.
After getting complain police begun probe and raided several places. Finally police managed to arrest two culprits from the Badajamada Railway station. Police is searching for the third person.
The accused persons were from Seregati under Gaya police station area of Bihar and trying to escape leaving their taxi in the stand.” He said.
Rise in the cases of anti social activities in Barbil police station area by people of the neighbouring Bihar, Jharkhand, UP and WB states have become headache for the local police.
