Bargarh August 2(Odisha.in) The chief whip of opposition congress party in the assembly Satya Bhusan Sahu Saturday demanded that that the state government should convene a special session of the state legislative assembly to discuss the increasing cases of foeticides and fake medicines in the state.
The cases reported from various part of the state over past weeks have posed threat to the lives of millions.
Although the state health minister Durjodhan Majhi had warned about it years before the chief minister Naveen Patnaik remained silent for a long period, talking to media persons in his constituency at Padampur in the western district of Bargarh Sahu said.
This is right time the state government convene a special session of the assembly to discuss the issue, he added.
